Meet Anna Siegel, the founder and lead teacher of Sunny Side Tutoring
 

Anna Siegel, founder and lead teacher at Sunny Side Tutoring, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for individualized instruction and hands-on learning. With a Master of Science in Education specializing in Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 and certification as an Orton-Gillingham Associate, Anna is committed to providing exceptional support for students with diverse learning needs. She believes in the power of relationship building, and emphasizes a strong student-teacher relationship as the key to a successful learning environment.

Anna earned an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences and holds additional certifications in teaching English as a Second Language and Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy. With three years of classroom teaching experience at Carroll School, a dynamic day school for students with language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia, Anna has honed the skills necessary to support students with a range of educational challenges. She also has a year of international teaching experience, having taught English as a Second Language in Thailand.

With four years of specialized Orton-Gillingham experience, Anna is known for making lessons engaging, interactive, and tailored to each child’s unique personality and needs. Her diverse background has allowed her to work with children from all walks of life, providing a rich understanding of varied educational environments.

In her free time, Anna enjoys traveling, skiing, mountain biking, scuba diving, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. This love for adventure and exploration translates into dynamic and vibrant teaching methods that inspire and motivate students.
